What Las Vegas customers said

From Google reviews by Las Vegas customers. Two of them, Nicole and Ed, had lights from installers that later went out of business and called Wes to fix them.

“Wes with TruLights has been so great to work with. We had our lights installed by another company that went out of business. We were having some technical difficulties with our lights and Wes was able to come in and troubleshoot our system to provide a fix even though his company wasn't involved in the original install. He was very knowledgeable and came to our home multiple times to make sure that the issue was fixed correctly. Excellent customer service!”

“I had lights installed by a contractor who is no longer in business and a little over a year later a problem occurred. Since the installer was not available I called the manufacturer of the system who is out of state. I’m glad I did as they recommended Wes at Trulight.”

Super professional, but also just really easy to talk to. You can tell when someone takes pride in their work, and Wes definitely does. Coverage and cost

Choose the roofline you want to light

You choose which parts of the roofline to light. The online estimator prices the front, the front and sides, or the whole perimeter, so you can compare before we come out to measure.

Front of House

The entry, garage and the peaks you see from the street. The most common starting point.

Front + Sides

Adds the side returns so the lighting wraps the corners instead of stopping at them.

Full House

The whole perimeter, including the back patio and any detached roofline you want lit.

Measured footage, roof height, mounting surfaces and equipment access set the final scope. We also confirm track finish, power, controller placement and the wire route before installation.

From estimate to your first lighting scene

  1. Start with your address

Use the online estimator and choose the roof sections you would like to light. The result is a preliminary estimate.

  2. Confirm the plan

We check measurements, mounting surfaces, access, track finish, power and wiring for the written quote.

  3. Install and test

We install the agreed roofline coverage and test the lighting system with you.

  4. Set up your scenes

We walk through the app so you can use brightness, colors, schedules and zones. Our support page is there for questions afterward.

Around Las Vegas

The City of Las Vegas covers only part of the valley. The places below are inside city limits. We also install outside them, including Enterprise, Spring Valley, North Las Vegas, Henderson and Boulder City.

Downtown and Symphony Park

Part of downtown is in Ward 5, home to the Fremont Street Experience, which the city says draws more than 24 million people downtown each year. Symphony Park covers 61 acres of downtown and holds The Smith Center for the Performing Arts, which the city calls its cultural hub.

Centennial Hills and Floyd Lamb Park

In the northwest, Ward 6 takes in Centennial Hills, including the Skye Canyon and Sunstone master-planned communities. Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs is the city's largest regional park: 680 acres of lakes and trees, known for the wild peacocks that live there.

If your community has a design review committee, check its rules before you book the install.

Summerlin North and West

The Summerlin North and West districts are inside the city, in Ward 2, roughly bounded by Buffalo Drive, Charleston Boulevard, Desert Inn Road, Lake Mead Boulevard and the Spring Mountains. The city calls the area the gateway to hiking at the Red Rock National Conservation Area.

Before we install at your Las Vegas home

Summerlin design review

The Summerlin North Community Association says all exterior alterations or improvements, whether visible from the street or not, must go to its Design Review Committee, and its CC&Rs give it 30 business days to respond. If you also belong to a sub-association, it reviews first. Before installation we confirm the track finish, controller placement and wire route with you, and you can include those in your request.

What Nevada HOA law says

Nevada's law for HOAs, NRS Chapter 116, does not address holiday or roofline lighting. It leaves design review to each association's own governing documents, and it requires association rules to be reasonably related to their purpose and uniformly enforced. Start with your CC&Rs.

City or county

The city says it covers only part of the metro area. According to the same guide, almost everywhere in the valley outside Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson is unincorporated Clark County, a separate jurisdiction. Check which one you are in before you look up local rules.

Questions about lighting your Las Vegas home

We have done it for Las Vegas homeowners, including Nicole and Ed, whose reviews are above. Tell us the brand and what the lights are doing, and we will tell you whether we can help.

Yes. Save each team's colors as a scene in the TruLight app, switch to it before the game, and go back to warm white afterward. You can also put the scene on a schedule so it turns on by itself.

Some addresses in the valley that say Las Vegas are in unincorporated Clark County, and we install there too. Enter your address in the online estimator or call us, and we will confirm.
